The school was founded in 1981 by Dr. Qazi Hameed Ullah & Dr. Farida Qazi. Under the leadership of its founders and a board of trustees, the school flourished and currently has over 40 children with special needs in attendance, at a purpose-built facility in Sheikh Maltoon Town, Mardan.
The school offers classes on literacy, communication, daily chores, etiquette, hygiene, art, recreation, and physical health.
We are a tax-exempt organisation and fully registered with the Philanthropy Department, Pakistan, and Social Services KPK.
FAMH is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation, dedicated to the welfare of mentally and physically challenged children in Mardan City and nearby suburbs.
Our students belong to low-income families. The school offers them a free-of-cost enablement programme that prioritises self-care, encourages peer support, and builds their confidence to perform daily chores independently. To ensure student access, safety, and convenience, we provide supervised pick-up and drop-off transport services.
Most of all, we give them a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment where they can play, laugh, and learn at the same time.
Annual sports day held on 9th of Nov. The children of FAMH played games that included races football cricket. This was followed by prize distribution by Dr Qazi Hameedullah, the founder of the school and chief guest of the event. Honourable guests included Jamal Khan, Asad Khan, Himayatullah Khan, Dr. Humaira Qazi, Safia Sahibzada and other members of the executive committee. All credit of the memorable event goes to principal Ayesha Mahnoor and Administator Shakoor Sahib
